We’re a year and a half out and still doing well. Bisexuality is still open for discussion, but we don’t discuss it as frequently anymore. It may come up once or twice a week or so... and it’s never stressful or awkward. It’s often in the context of other people... actors and such coming out. Life is pretty normal I’d say. I’m usually the one to bring it up... I think it’s my attempt at normalizing bisexuality.

Anyway, I don’t post often anymore, but I still plan on giving periodic updates.

It really feels so good once it has gotten to the point that it is not the only thing you think about any more! It is just another normal part of life. Not something to necessarily be a threat or constant fear. Once my bi husband and I got to the point where we could joke about it together, I knew we would be ok.

CMaree,

Oh yes… exactly, it feels GREAT! We’re so busy with other aspects of life, this is not the forefront of our lives. Don’t get me wrong, it’ll always be there… we’ll always talk about it, but it’s lighthearted and fun… not stressful and burdensome. We joke around about it… both of us. He knows I adore him and I know he adores me. That’s exactly how I felt about joking around… I’m so glad we got there and as quickly as we did.

I’m so glad things are going well for you too.
