TakenbySurprise Yep TTT is it’s own special kind of mess up to your mind. And to the kids! The whole shared history gets messed up. Memories, photos, in this day videos as well. Years of them now all there in front of you but now all messed up. Their dad is gone but there is still this person around that is nearly like them but at the same time not at all (my soon they be X is still in the house and I have no idea how long it will take to get him out). Kid is now asking if they have two moms and it is hard to explain that yes some families do but you do NOT have two moms. I have one of those apps that shows you past photos from that same date and I can’t imagine how confused my kid is.

Then all the questioning in your own mind about what was truth and what was a lie. Guess some of that is similar to those going through TGT. I get the “I didn’t know” line then at the same time overhear talking about picking out a female name 20 years ago.
