I read an article not too long ago, also in The Guardian, it even used the same picture, and it was very self-serving. At the time, according to the article, she wasn't saying much and he made it all about him and what a doll she was for never disparaging him to the press. Every quote from him made it really obvious how little he respected her boundaries. It was almost creepy like he considered her some kind of pet or 'nanny' figure and that she should somehow still consider him central to her life. I felt sorry for her and irritated on her behalf. All makes sense now. Selfish and entitled. He should be ashamed of himself.
