I believe that what Duped was doing was responding to the name of the thread "Make it stop" and saying that eightsix8 could make the pain stop by leaving, because her husband's comments--detailed in her post--were cruel and impossible to live with. She wasn't telling eightsix8 to leave the forum or saying others' comments were cruel.

OOHC beat me to it.. Duped was not telling eight to leave this forum, but rather advising that she leave her husband.
