Hi ILMGW
Just jumping in here to offer a quick work of support. It truly doesn't matter what her orientation is as long as you two are happy and your needs are satisfied. A lot of people on this forum are stuck in a pain of betrayal that had everything to do with individuals they were with - and not their sexualities.
The decision to sexually explore is potentially risky, bit my bi husband and I went the same way - we both tried dating outside our married - both unsuccessfully. For him it helped to take the edge off the matter - once something is not forbidden, you tend to want it less. For me it gave me confidence that he is choosing me, not staying for convenience or lack of options. Also, dating straight men these days really suck.
Good luck with your journey! Sounds like you're navigating it well. Check out www.morandmore.org if you haven't yet.

hi and thank you all for making me feel less confused and alone.
I have been with my wife for 17 years and we are blissfullly happy. I have always known she was bi although she denied it for years unless we were intimate or a little "happy". As our relationship has grown stronger I have wanted he to explore who she is as I think denying it has led to issues. Well she has now,, with my encouragement, found a really lovely woman and they intend to meet up for sex. the woman knows of my and our realtionship and she is a lesbian so there is no selfish interest in this for me aside from the fact that my wife has never been hornier. they are clear that it is not for more than the physical. I trust her and we are very open but I am navigating the usual fear of what could happen. Just looking to talk to someone for reassurance and guidance.
