    Iā€™m just feeling sad tonight. My 25th wedding anniversary would have been yesterday. My daughter left for college tonight. Just need some positive vibes, laughter, or virtual love. Much appreciated.

    We understand. Ā Sadness does creep on us when there are triggers like your anniversary, and sometimes for no reason. Ā 
    Google- memes for happily single women that donā€™t need a man. Ā Some are so funny, yet so true. There is one that shows SpongeBob SquarePants sleeping in bed w/ a smile. Ā IT SAYS, HOW I SLEEP KNOWING IM SINGLE AND NO ONE IS CHEATING ON ME.
    Another one: shows Sarah Jessica Parker. Ā She is asked, ā€œ why are you still single?ā€ Ā Her answer: ā€œi donā€™t have time for idiotsā€
    Another one has a pic of one of the Simpsonā€™s women charachter lying supine with the hairiest legs. Ā  Title says, "When she gives up on relationships and starts focusing on herself"

    Living alone- you can wear PJā€™s all day, if you want. Ā Talk to yourself, which I honestly talk out loud a lot. Ā Walk naked. Ā Listen to music or podcasts as Loud as one wants. Ā Eat a meal out of a can. Ā Sleep late. Etc.Ā 
    Okay, I donā€™t do this all the time. Ā But I know I couldnā€™t if I had a mate that would critique my every move.

    Tee wee, yeah the anniversaries are absolutely hard, when the magnitude of the changed future kicks in-combined with the bittersweet change of your daughter just off at school.

    Just today I was imaging if I put say half of the care my stbx puts into himself and invested it in myself. Iā€™m over here bawling my eyes out over the loss and he done crying is moving on in all sorts of ways. Sometimes Iā€™m not even sure where to start but I wanna try. I know you can too TeeWee.

    Anniversaries only mean something if they have meaning to both people.  I no longer think of mine at all.

    Funny that I just logged on and realized, reading the latest, that Aug 21 would have been our anniversary.Ā  This is the second year in a row that it simply did not register with me.Ā  I've been divorced now for just under six years.Ā Ā
