Merry Xmas to all straightspouses on my side of the world
Just in case my partner bought me a gift I decided to get him a yoga mat and a cylindrical roll (not really sure what you do with it but Google will tell me right?) that we can both use. He was non-committal, maybe a little surprised and that's okay by me. He gave me nothing.
We'll have a xmas meal with our daughter and her husband then in just over a week I fly off to see my other 3 adult children for an extended month and a bit.
I know some straightspouses xmas day won't be easy and I send you wishes for the strength within you
and happy vibes to colour your day

I’m sorry he gave you nothing. My first Christmas without my ex and her girls in 10 years. Blows. But it is what it iis. Thanks for your wishes and a merry Christmas to you!!!!

Thanks Iñk. Because we had a full day with family I haven't had much time to think about it so I think I'm over any hurt I might have felt in earlier days .
I don't give him sex anymore.,,.. He doesn't buy me a xmas gift. Seems like a fair swap and I'm okay with that ☺️

Not laughing,... I used up all my emotion and happiness trying to understand and get my partner to NOT want to do the things he wanted to do with men and I'm just about empty. I've got a fair bit of rye and analogical humor left... that I use with the masks I put on... So everyone thinks nothing's wrong.
And yeah, nah there's no fair trade in this Mindfuck because.,. well, nothing's fair about it

Clintonia...i saw your post about ” ripping him to pieces" and want to give you Support but don't think it's appropriate on a MOM board because I'd just tell you to use that anger... If not now, conserve it for later... and add it to what you'll need if you decide not to stay
