Did/Does your GIDH express attraction to men going MTF?
My late GIDXH did many times. Our city has a large LGBT population - more than the national average.
He’d do this with the men who were dressed/made up like women but looked very masculine - tall, 5 o’clock shadows, large framed, ill-fitting clothing, badly applied makeup. He showed no interest towards the more feminine appearing MTF where you had to look twice for the Adam’s apple, lack of breasts, a little larger than female hands, etc.,
I thought he was being his usual passive-aggressive self then to upset me. Could have this been a real attraction? Do some gay men like men & transgendered women? I hope it’s not a stupid question or triggering for those whose husbands are going MTF. Will remove if it makes anyone uncomfortable.

Transgendered women are at base men, and most of them still have male genitalia. You'll never know what the specifics of his desire might have been.

Although my GIDEX never showed attraction in public his computer and phone showed me otherwise. Only gay porn on computer and craigslist for transvestite hookups and on phone texts only found confirmed hookups with transvestite hookers with confirmation on breast size, age, and functioning size of genitalia
Totally mind boggling to say the least and tortured my brain as to why he only hooked up with transvestites and not men with breasts....sorry about the detail and since three weeks of leaving him he has been dating a woman for the last two years.

These are possibilities, but I wonder if he had gender dysphoria. I’ve been thinking about this for a long time.
We had to have extensive work on our car at a body shop. The clerk was an older man wearing a dress who had long hair, pantyhose & flats. Very plain and not well groomed. My h wasn’t homophobic like when he saw gays, but very kind & sympathetic. We saw this clerk 4 times.
H told me he didn’t like his genitalia, hid them from me, urinated sitting down. He felt happiest shaving twice a day to rid himself of the 5 o’clock shadow.
Maybe not, but he had no reason to not be out as a gay man. His family lived 3000 miles away and rarely visited.
Maybe I’m just grasping at straws. It’s hard to accept I’ll never know the exact truth.
