Are there any chat rooms for people in our situations? Would be nice to have a sponsor of sorts like a lifeline.

Don't know of any...some folks messaged here and exchanged email..
I found the local SSN group and local folks to call a godsend when i was in shock.
Its a good idea..maybe Phoenix could add one. We could each volunteer as a guest each week.

Rob, that's a good suggestion.
StraighSpouse1979 - I did a lot of journaling in the early months and years and I still go back to those journals occasionally. It helped with the journey, the planning of steps, and seeing progress and managing setbacks. When I read those journals now, I see the insanity of it realistically and it helps me not grieve the loss any more. It was an unhealthy situation based on a lie and it needed to change as painful as it was.
