Tom,
Those are completely valid feelings.  I agree with you about not having felt this gamut of raw emotions in a long time.  It’s hard to deal with this turmoil when you were raised to be stoic.  At least that’s how I feel.  I have cried more in the last 6 months than I have in my entire life.  I feel weak.  I have to hold on to the idea that this will pass.  Better days of strength and happiness are out there.  I struggle through each day moving towards a light that I hope will bring trust in myself and strength that I know I have buried deep, but it’s in there.
Hang on to your inner self.  That will pull you through this mess.
