There's a statement in these emails that says "if this wasn't you please disregard this email" He will use this and feign indifference/innocence.

I asked him about it this morning, on the phone. He denied any knowledge of it, said he hadn't even seen it.

This is the reaction I was expecting so I was ready for it and didn't say any more.
