I will admit I had trauma bonding or "insane loyalty".  It actually drove my GX mad as I refused to be unkind in person to her...it was so unlike me to be cruel and mean.

In the end though..she was hurting me and I was hurting me with her.   At some point my support people; family, priest, psychiatrist, lawyer etc made me see that she did not have the right to do this.
She was not a God, a demigod or a supreme being.

We love them but they hurt us.  This is not us leaving them, this is them rejecting us.
