I came back to this post this morning to re-think my approach for 2022. My divorce was final last year. I have almost finished paying off my lawyers.

I don’t really know where my post here is going, but I think I’m much less dependent on other peoples’ reactions to my experience. I think in the beginning of the journey my trust in my own instincts had been shattered. I needed other people to react.

Sorry folks, I was posting from the waiting room at the dentist ... so left the thought half-finished.  I'd actually seen this article when it first came out in the NY Times, and there's a lot to think about there.
