Hey friends,
I recently had a chance to join Kristin Kalbli on the Straight Spouse Voices podcast.  We talked a little about my story, but mainly we focused on the first-aid kit we developed as a forum.

Thanks so much to everyone on this forum for all your participation and the collective wisdom that has been shared.  I truly believe that the advice we've collected is helping a lot of people!

Wonderful job, Phoenix.  It took a lot of courage on your part to make yourself so vulnerable in telling of your pain.  You can be sure other straight spouses will benefit from your honesty and from the checklist your experience led you to want to create.
I was also so grateful to hear Kristin say that the situation in which straight spouses live when their spouses hide their sexual orientation is a form of gaslighting and psychosexual abuse.
And on a lighter note, my professor's heart skipped a beat when you used the word "lexicon."

Thank you for the kind words.. They are appreciated!   I really want to credit this entire group though.  It's been a process that we have all contributed to and I think it will help a lot of people.. and that is awesome.

Listening to it right now

It makes me feel like a part of something. Which, of course...I am!
