Just want to add, if there is any sort of inheritance it might be wise to keep it separate.

I’m so sorry to hear of your father’s passing.

The straight woman who knowingly married a gay man is YazPistachio. There’s also interesting research on straight women married to gay identified man. Link below...

I am SO sorry to hear of the passing of your father. That’s hard on any day, and during this really hard time, i know it’s got to be messing with your head. 

I don’t know if you’re religious. I am, and when my loved ones pass, I am comforted by the knowledge that they are home with God. That’s what got me through the passing of my first husband. For what it’s worth.

Thank you SusanneH and Ellexoh. 'they are home with God'. For sure I believe that... yes, I was very close to my dad, but never shared with him, about my husband. That would have been a very low point for him...
