Stronger: I think it is fair to say "I have only recently discovered that my husband is gay." You're not saying he lied about it ... but obviously anybody who knew him would know he's not exactly advertising this.

I really appreciate all these posts. I know I started this thread and then have been kind of dark! Just a lot going on for me internally lately. But I am reading, and I so appreciate everyone's insights!
