This forum is for discussion of issues related to Mixed Orientation relationships only, that is when one partner is heterosexual (straight) and one is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender or Questioning.

Re: Is there a good way your spouse could have handled TGT?
Ideally we should never have gotten married and had kids etc. I think it was very ‘convenient’ that she found that she was gay once the kids were in the picture.
Alternatively, don’t have an affair and behave in a way that ensures your straight spouse will despise you for your utter lack of character.
