Yes, my husband of 26 years has always denied that it happened on the 3 occasions over the years that I found some evidence (all 3 times accidentally) of internet correspondence with other men on craigslist.After I show the proof of what I have found, he has said that 1.) He does not remember fully the surfing and messaging or 2) That is happens because of some stress in life that he feels, either work related or financial that brings back the physical and emotional abuse of his childhood. And then he reacts to the stress by seeking out responses from gay men to adds either they, or maybe he, posts. Usually he will have a temper tantrum of sorts, yelling then crying. the first two times, I of course was distraught, stunned, shaken to my core, crying, screaming even. This last time.....I think I am just numb.
